Party, wine, no voice

I am so excited for my wine party tonight! Initially, I had planned on throwing a small dinner party because my dear mother sent me a package of soup that makes a LOT of soup. But for lots of reasons, the party was scheduled for the 24th, before the soup would arrive. NO problem, I don't have enough dishes anyways:-) Also, the 24th is when Sophie was supposed to get here, so it's a welcome party for her as well. (She ended up coming yesterday) I already like the teachers but don't know them all that well. Some of them just started last week and one started two days ago! SO, now I have at least ten people coming over to my little apartment for a lady's wine party! I bought two bottles of extremely cheap (and probably gross!) wine, and one bottle of Yellow Tail that was a bit more expensive. Another teacher is bringing another bottle. I have strawberries, moon pies (popular here), some type of good lookin bread and a random collection of mugs for the wine. This will be the greatest teacher party I have ever thrown......

Oh, don't forget the games I have lined up! Also, don't forget that I definitely don't have a voice right now!! This sickness has left me voiceless. Fred thought it was hilarious:-)
