Every little thing is gonna be alright!

Here we are on the 21st of December. Christmas is a few days away (unless you are my family and already did Christmas!) and the New Year is creeping around the corner. Another big event that's presumably close: my departure from America! Still no visa, meaning no plane ticket, but I'm going to be ready when that finally goes through! I've been packing and I only have one more week at my (new) job! It's a little sad because I really like working at Jim 'N Nick's. I've made a lot of friends there just in the two months I've been there and the managers are fantastic! It's hard to finally meet more friends down here and then leave them! Such is life. Such is MY life!

Honestly, I was freaking out a little about this small issue some people label as "financial woes." Ok, maybe nobody labels it that way but I was a little worried that I wouldn't have a whole lot left over after my next loan payment comes out, after all my trip needs are payed for, after Christmas presents are bought, and after I'm done at work and not making anything! They recommend bringing about $800-$1000 initially just in case something goes wrong, and since I won't get paid for a couple weeks to a month after I start working at the school. I've been waiting for the 19th to completely freak out since I thought that's when my loan payment would be taken out. The 19th came and went and I'm still alive and let me tell you, God keeps on proving how wonderful He is...apparently I don't have any payments due until January!! There have been so many times I've been in tears because I thought something awful was going to happen because of money issues. My bank account has been in the red more than once, I've had $10 in it when I've been expecting some sort of higher payment to be taken out soon, I've had JUST enough to pay for different things and scared I wouldn't have any left. But time and time again, it ALWAYS works out. It's just another way of God showing me how He takes care of me. Now I can pack my check on bags a little heavier than 50 pounds (50 pounds?! Really airlines, really?!) and be able to pay the difference:-)

Yesterday we had a little going away party. I still can't believe I'm actually going to South Korea! I haven't really been able to work on my TEFL certification so that will definitely take me a couple months to finish, but that's ok! I'll be teaching English to little kiddos by then!:-D

Love life and live every minute of it.
